I've had this on my wishlist for so long so I was happy to finally play it but I wish the racing was more important than the knocking down other racers is. As it is, it's not a bad game, especially in couch co-op, but if you're looking for a competitive bike racer, this is probably not for you.
Leveling up is also much harder than it should be. The "Campaign" mode is the only one that grants you XP that allows you to progress in the game but it's not really a campaign mode, as you just restart from scratch every time, leaving you repeating the same events (although randomly) over and over to gain XP that you have to leave on the pavement because you didn't get enough to progress through the skill tree.
If you lose your skill points every time you die and start over, how are you supposed to progress at all?
Another con is the mapping of the controller, which is just all wrong (attack left X, attack right... Y?) but impossible to change.
Oh and you're supposed to keep your bike on the road, avoid collisions, block attacks... and change your weapon in between strikes to knock off your target's helmets and then behead them. That's multitasking, alright.
All in all, it's just a fun basher to play an hour with a buddy but I won't be spending a lot of time on it, and probably won't progress much in the game. Judging by the global stats on the achievements, not a lot of people have.
This one's a Meh but I mark it as recommended because it's not too bad for a one time session of fun bashing.
