Desert Child was fun enough, but I received it for free so the bar was lowered. I would grab it on a sale. Like, right now its $5. You could blow 5 dollars on waaaay worse games. If you're really into shooter racing or the Redline / Cowboy Bebop vibe you could probably grab it for full price even.

I couldn't quite figure out how to not suck at the races. Ammo was finite, but it could be replenished during the race. But sometimes the truck doesn't show up? But you need to shoot all the things and the other racer to do well. Maybe the gun I picked at the start was wrong? But I thought I picked the lowest difficulty one.

If you watch the trailers and are still on the fence I would find a short video on youtube for after you land on Mars. It's like, after 5 or so races as the road you start on is Tutorial Island. But again, its only a couple of dollarydoos.
