Pretty slick 2D hack n slash adventure game, fantastic experience playing with controller. The story is fine I guess, the art and level design are good looking so it's not boring to explore.
If I want to nitpick, I don't really like the platformer element of this game especially starting the middle game when vertical rooms are more common, very annoying with all the flying enemies and various debuff easily mess up my lovely Vivian while she is climbing. But I guess that's the challenge,
Also for smooth experience and less frustration I think a little bit grinding is required for this game. because near the end some enemies can practically one-shot our Vivian if she's a little bit under leveled or poorly equipped (which is most likely your situation if you're playing normally or just following the story).
Overall it is enjoyable and recommended, the multiple ending from winning or losing some bosses are very nice addition. get this iif you like the genre, it's very cheap and worth every penny.
