Judgement: Not Recommended

  • Morlan's shorts:
A prime example of what to avoid while making games. First of all respect your players, they're not a test subject like the protagonist in the game. This game has lack of options of arcade-cabinet proportions and that's not something to boast about! There are NO OPTIONS WHATSOEVER.. No sound, graphic, save or window/fullscreen options.. not even a freeking exit button. You Alt-F4 and then have to use task manager to kill the app. Always runs in fullscreen and in the better than the "recommended" setup (although I have no idea what a "GTFORCE 710" is) it runs in less than 10FPS! It's that badly optimized.
Also it's a pretentious walking simulator, with errors in orthography/grammar in the messages, which makes the "overlords" (or whoever is giving you hints/instructions) ridiculous and when there are obstacles/challenges the hitbox is dreadful. Truth be told I barely reached the first challenges but got so frustrated at the collision detection that I gave up.
So if you want to make a first-person "adventure", get this and avoid most of what happened there.
I came in with good intentions about this as I was really drawn in by the oddly looking levels and I have a soft spot for weird indie titles but this one belongs more in the Alpha-Beta department than a proper release. It may be interesting if you persist through but I have no intention of running that course for the umpteenth time because the collision system decided I didn't make the jump on the microsecond that I had to..

Don't waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!
