Judgement: Not Recommended

I certainly wasn't expecting much from this but I also didn't expect this to rank up there as one of the worst gaming experiences in my life. First up the controls, not only is there no explantion of them but they're also an awkward mix of keyboard and mouse when a pure keyboard layout would have been a better option. There's also no option to rebind them. Then we move onto combat. There's no indication that you've even hit an enemy and then if you get in range of the melee units they place themslef in such a way that you can't see your own sprite which makes it even harder to determine whether or not you're hitting them. Finally your snowballs (ammo) and gold do carry over between levels but you'll often find yourself withourt enough gold in a given level to buy all the items that are required to actually complete that level. Buying snowballs is essentially a must due to the unavaoidable nature of certain enemies buy buying them means you pobably can't afford the necesarry gifts. But if you buy the gifts instead you'll almost certainly be killed before you can complete the level. Your only option at that point is to restart the entire game as restarting the level will only leave you short on the required gold again.

The only reason anyone would buy this game is for the theoretical easy achievements/perfect game however it's that bad that you may not even make it that far. Had I bought this game directly through Steam I absolutely would have been requesting a refund.
