Judgement: Not Recommended

If you like what you see on the store page, you might want to pick this up. There isn't that much to the game.
The basis of Druid is in a maze style gameplay. Your mission is to get to the 'center' of the maze by exploring the map, doing quests and acquiring powers. There are two (quite easy) puzzles, otherwise the quests are fetch quests. There is also a collectible in the mix.
The soundtrack is quite mellow and nice. The art style is relaxing. All good, casual elements.
Then why is this one a thumbs down review? Three things:
1) bugs. I had to restart the game due to my character getting stuck. The game crashed once. The language changed from English to Russian with no reason (main menu still showed language as English). The new game dialog stuck to the screen.
2) backtracking. This game is almost 90% backtracking, 10% exploring. In a 'maze' that gets old fast especially since there's no map. There are enough corners and corridors for the map layout to be hard to remember. With no map and no way to place markers (that would have been a nicer option than straight-up map in my opinion!) the game feels more tedious than it should -- after all this game can be completed in a little more than an hour. I also had to do things many times because my character was the tiniest touch in the wrong place. The hotspots are too small and the controls not tight enough.
3) I expected more. When all is said and played, the game is just small but feels big and long because of 'empty space' and backtracking. There are screens of just forest and flat area that can't be interacted with or have no points of interest. Maybe a few more animals to talk to (even if they say just 'coo' or whatever), more flowers or something could spruce this up.
If you like the look of the game and catch a sale, this could be fun for an hour or two (maybe with kids?). However, do not expect too much.
