Not a bad game, though there are more sophisticated products in the genre. While it is relatively unique too and has enteresting events, these events are also a gamebreaker, if you are unlucky.

I invested heavily into an hydro-electric dam, to increase the chances of success of the project.
Of course it still failed, despite a >70% chance.
On top of that I got an emergency crisis right one turn after I began my ongoing investment. With my limited funds I still achieved 3 out of 4 goal to fight the pandemic threat and ... failed.

I could live with all that, but if one of your ministers then demands that you should buy 2 new fighters, requiring a wealth you never had even before that crisis, shows that this game lacks some basic checks and balances.
