Not a bad game if you're into space shooters but it feels a little static sometimes, most likely due to large distances. Maybe it's more dynamic in PvP but I couldn't say as I have failed to find a single player to challenge over several sessions, night or day.
The game certainly looks good for an "early access" game (although it seems the devs are not exactly active on Steam since board posts remain unanswered) but it needs a larger community. As it stands, the solo mode is very short and a little unsatisfying.
I wish there was a "let's see how it develops" option because I'm not sure I'd recommend it as it is. There is no controller support (for a space game, it's lacking in a big way) and the achievements are broken, at least for me.
All in all, if you like vintage shooters with an updated look and you can get it on sale, go for it. Maybe we'll be fighting soon.

Edited: As of December 2018, the achievements are still not tracking properly.
