At the beginning I was quite excited about Mad Max. The setting was well adapted, the combat system reminded of Sleeping Dogs and when I opened the map for the very first time, I dreamily imagined the entertainment this huge world would provide.

Then I experienced more and more of this world. The combat system remained pretty limited (unlike Sleeping Dogs) and the variety of actions the open world offered, was just as limited. The huge world became a burden, instead of a source of joy.
Mad Max offers entertaining aspect, especially the story missions have some really well made episodes. But I simply can't ignore that too much of the game time spent was a drag and that other games offer better alternatives.
