Kings' Cross is a strategy puzzle game where you lead an army of heros against a monster army.
The game has some amazing art, but the gameplay is not fun. The core mechanics is incredibly basic. Your main interaction with the game is initial unit placement. From there the units will move and attack based on their descriptions, but all of that is automatic.
Each unit has a single upgrade, typically just adding additional damage to a certain class of units. Later in the game you get a few spells, but they are incredibly weak in comparison.
The games art is very atmospheric and I get a real CCG vibe from it, but the gameplay is so balanced it becomes boring. The end product feels more like watching a simulation then playing a game.
