Awesome game. Figured this would be more of a choose your own adventure style title but it's you playing an invisible watcher following how a set murder story plays out, and experiencing it from the perspective of every character. You can follow the story through or explore the house at will, mostly solving the case on your own from finding obvious and sometimes well hidden clues.

The english voice acting is usually alright, but a few times there's a little audio feedback in the recordings. The island setting is nice, but the house interior is beautiful and totally worth a few wanders through. Character models are a bit poor looking, but their animations are good. If you're looking for an easy 100%, the achievements apart from five just unlock while playing and careful exploring.

Is this worth $40? Heck no. 50 to 75% off though, easy pick up.
