Judgement: Not Recommended

Nice looking, but ultimately boring and also very dead. This was last updated with a news post in August 2018 and there's been nothing since, so I doubt it'll ever leave EA. Average players online tends to hover between 4 and 6, but peaked at 15 this morning. I was killed and looted by one guy twice, otherwise everyone else flees from you and as there's no chat aside from voice I couldn't say I was friendly. Those looking for an easy 100% can skip this as the achievements are all locked.
You can solo play Survival if you get lucky with finding supplies, but even without the PvP it becomes boring fast. Yes there are vehicles, but good luck finding all the parts to get them running before you starve or die of dehydration. Same goes for guns - in this case some of them are paperweights as the item needed to fix them almost never spawns more than once per server. Apart from fully exploring three areas I'd ventured over all villages and bases of the entire map in under five hours.
Visually the game is very pretty, but wolf and dog models are somewhat low poly especially once they decide to come in close and eat you. Furniture in the houses and other buildings varies, most of it looks alright but it feels like placeholders. The audio is passable, with the soundtrack being mostly stock stuff except for the odd time it becomes super ominous when nothing's happening. Controls are alright, but aren't remappable from what I could see.
