Ms. Squeaker's Home for the Sick is an homage to Paper's Please and it does a wonderful job. The games pacing is fantastic, luring you in with a cute intro that sparks your curiosity while teaching the basic mechanics, before seamlessly throwing you into the middle of a war zone. The game challenging your beliefs by putting a time variable on everything. Initially I found myself admitting many people into Emergency Care in hope that they could be saved, even those with little chance. This caused those that really needed Emergency care to die in the waiting rooms.

My favorite parts of the game is that you could be doing everything possible, and still struggle because of lack of space, the number of "LC is currently full" messages received made me question my decisions. Should I have let that last patient just go without seeing the doctor?

Ms. Squeaker's Home for the Sick story is a lore heavy political drama. All the story decisions you make are impactful. There are many branching paths each with unique endings which makes for great replayability.
