I don't think this game is worth it unless you REALLY know what you're getting.
I got it for free and promised to play through it but otherwise, I would've probably quit it and here's why.
First off, it's a walking simulator for the most part and while it has beautiful visuals and wonderful overall presentation it also has some of the most hardcore FPS dips that I've ever, and I mean ever experienced (these are so bad that they should be called submerges, not dips). I'm packing GTX 1060 with 6 Gigs of vRAM and an i5-7600K and my FPS, on fairly lowered detail, was still dropping at moments even below 25 frames. It's not like this is constant but then again, stable frame rate for more than a few moments isn't either.
The story is cool and I very much like the way it was (or wasn't) told, in fact I liked this more than the story itself. You're to piece it together from the clues you pick by observing the world and drawings/murals found on your journey through it.
However, if you're looking for interesting gameplay, it's best to avoid Aporia as it offers little more than walking around and solving some really easy and usually not that interesting puzzles.
One last, miscellaneous thing to be aware of are the achievements.
If you're an achievement hunter or a completionist, get ready for the worst achievement conditions I've ever seen in a video game like finding and consuming all of the health/resource items. And it's not like these are just a couple of achievements and you can still get a good game score, no. These "consume everything" make the 39% of the game's total achievements!
For comparison's sake, it would be similar to a shooter asking you to find (and consume) all of the ammo and health pickups even if you don't need them, and punish you with poor achievement score for not doing it. Ridiculous...
