Judgement: Not Recommended

Dungeon Siege 2 started out interesting, but multiple technical issues and a failed save costing 6 hours of progress killed it for me. Spend a few minutes browsing the discussions area for this title and you'll see it has a habit of not playing nice with newer systems, it seems more based on luck if you'll run it properly than anything else.
Looking at the game itself, DS2 is nothing special at this point with the plethora of RPGs on the market. Aside from a fantastic soundtrack and mostly good voice acting, enemies feel very generic and the main quest rather bland. The main redeeming aspect is being able to switch party members on the fly, so you can fight as whoever you wish during battle. Of moderate interest is that missed enemies will trail you across the level, sometimes resulting in a near survived battle ending in chaos after you're ambushed by three enemies you skipped several minutes prior - while this is a nice touch at first, being killed repeatedly in two areas due to respawning lower level baddies whupping my near dead party got stale real fast.
