Okay, this is a tough one. I like the game, but the controls I really don't!
It gets quite repetitive fast, and teleporting is a hell sometimes because of the controls, it's okay in the shoot 'em up part, but in the platform part it's just a hassle. The controls are so bad that after a short while my thumbs hurt because I have to switch from stick to face buttons, and back, my right thumb is not built for this, and probably nobody elses for that matter.
It's a shame, because I like the style, the music and so on, and I will keep on playing it sometimes, but not for long periods, it's simply too frustrating because of the controls.
So in the end I'll recommend it, but not for full price, so get it at a discount, and have some fun with it until it starts getting frustrating. Some people will be good at this, but I'm unfortunately not one of them.
