PSA: People prone to vertigo would be wise to avoid this game, the narrow FOV it uses (that cannot be changed) will frag your sense of balance after a couple levels, if not sooner.
Gorgeous game, but the rampant technical issues I've run into while playing Youropa have killed the experience. Initial startup will take anywhere from 2 to 45 minutes (no joke), or the game might just crash. Second or third attempt at starting it usually works, thankfully. Once you get playing you'll likely find the highly original spinning level experience ruined by your character launching itself off staircases into the ether and dodgy physics causing issues with picking up items like boxes and spray paint cans. Between levels, loading takes anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes regardless of the size of each level. While you can somewhat alleviate the staircase launching by creeping, the physics issues with boxes can see you spending entirely too long repositioning freshly-spawned boxes over a switch for the third or fourth time.
I'd suggest this is worth an install just to see the visuals, so those of you who got hold of Youropa via a bundle might want to check it out. But as for actually buying it? Nope. There are better games out there. This could have been something awesome, but at this point it's clear it never will be,
