As it stands it's one of those games that make me wish Steam had a "meh" third option but to be honest, unless you're a hardcore fan of everything old school RPG and you are in need of a nostalgia fix, you might want to skip this one.
The story is not uninteresting but it's extremely slow and the writing is incredibly average.

If you suffer through the many clunky bouts of unavoidable combat and the bottomless dungeons you have to grind through, level after level, just to finish a quest for a handful of XP points, you probably will feel underwhelmed by the game's sluggish progress through the story and the lack of character or any kind of bond or relationship throughout.

So yeah ok if you really must have everything RPG on Steam, go ahead but there are far better games in the genre, even old school ones, that will satisfy your thirst for adventure and monster fighting.
IF you do play though, do yourself a favor and hit the Priest or Thief class at the start so you can at least teleport up and down those dreadful endless caves, dungeons and mines.
