Judgement: Not Recommended

My main takeaway is: It's kind of like Stardew Valley for children or completely inexperienced gamers. It's a good time sink if you like the genre and need something new, but there are better games than this.
The game holds your hand very much and it seems adamant in pushing you in a linear direction despite this being an open-world building/farming sim. When the game wants you to do something, you have to do it to progress in the game. There is a bit of freedom to do whatever you want, but there aren't many different ways to play the game. It's also very linear in that it has a story with a beginning and the end of the game. The story is, uh, a poorly masked statement on climate change lmao.
The game is also very repetitive, even if that's part of the grind for a game like this. You unlock a new area, slap down some buildings and decorations, find the vault, move boxes to get the Song Fragment, put the fragment in the tree, unlock a new area, and do this all over again.
The game feels a bit unpolished, there are weird bugs littered throughout the game. The biggest one for me was when I created a World that was too close to the trunk of the Evertree, so part of the World clipped into the tree and was obscured. You can walk through the tree wall if that happens though. Even without the bugs the game just feels empty in a lot of aspects.
I think the summary is that the game is absolutely playable but "kinda mid", I'm giving it a slight Not Recommended because it feels like I have more bad things to say than good.
