Nurse Love Addiction is my first Yuri game and the first VN I fully completed. And I can say that I'm pleasantly surprised. The story may seem shallow at first, akin to a classic lighthearted SOL Anime that is only meant to be cute, with a nursing school setting to make it more interesting, but it's far from the truth. I'm someone who is usually able to predict where a story is going, and I can proudly say that I was not able to do that for this one. Overall, as one of the characters says so well in the game, "It's not what it seems."

Visuals and Art: Nurse Love Addiction's visuals are a mixed bag. While the artwork is generally appealing, there are instances where character designs, especially the eyes, could have been improved. Despite these occasional hiccups, the game manages to deliver an overall enjoyable visual experience.

Voice Acting: The voice acting is a standout feature of Nurse Love Addiction. It enhances the immersion and quality of the game, and I have no complaints about it. Anime enthusiasts will be pleased to recognize familiar voices, including Albedo, Amane Suzuha, and Makise Kurisu, adding an extra layer of connection to the characters.

User Interface: The game's menu is nothing extraordinary, and I've seen better, but it offers a plethora of options to tailor your experience. One such feature is the ability to selectively mute specific characters if their voices become bothersome, a thoughtful addition that enhances player control and enjoyment.

Music: Nurse Love Addiction's BGM is well-matched to the game's atmosphere and theme. It contributes to the lighthearted tone of the narrative and switches to a more dramatic tone when needed, providing a pleasant auditory backdrop to the unfolding story.

Dialogue and Story: The game surprises with its well-structured dialogue and occasional humor, making for engaging interactions. As someone new to Yuri games, I initially underestimated the depth of the story. Set within the unique backdrop of a medical school, the plot proves both medically accurate and captivating. It also manages to blend comedy, drama, and mystery seamlessly. It leaves you craving more and itching to uncover all the hidden secrets.

Routes and Endings: Nurse Love Addiction offers a multitude of routes, each dedicated to one of the main characters and featuring two possible endings. Among these, Sakuya's route truly shines, offering a deeply emotional and captivating story. It's the heart of the game, and you can feel the narrative favoring it. This was my first route, partly because I'm a fan of Sakuya's voice actress, and it didn't disappoint. The interconnectedness of certain routes, particularly Nao and Sakuya's, adds layers to the characters and the overarching plot.

Route Recommendations: For an optimal experience, I suggest the following route order: Sakuya > Nao > Itsuki > Kaede. Feel free to interchange the first two routes as desired. Save Kaede's route for last, or you can even play it first; it doesn't really matter as it offers a standalone experience that doesn't heavily connect to the other three. Ultimately, the choice of order is yours, but this sequence helps unveil subtle hints and emotions in other characters and the broader narrative.

In conclusion, Nurse Love Addiction offers a captivating experience with exceptional voice acting, unexpected narrative depth, and interconnected routes. Whether you're a Yuri game aficionado like a dear friend of mine or new to the genre, this title is well worth your time and attention. A final point to keep in mind is that the skip setting for previously read text is not functioning as expected; instead, it skips over everything, making the process of exploring new routes or scenes much more tedious than it should be, as it poses the risk of missing specific scenes.
