Judgement: Not Recommended

I've been playing for roughly 2 hours, and unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing games I've played in the past few months. The combat is clunky and the camera is absurdly bad, just like it would be in a bad platformer console game from the 90s. The enemies are copy and paste with different skins and with basic attacks that are easily beaten. The maps are poorly designed and all of the ones I've played in so far are very similar and have wonky ladder climbing. I'm not familiar with with Tokyo Ghoul at all so I don't know any of the characters or lore, but I'm trying to follow along to understand the story and I'm totally lost.
From what I saw from the trailer, I thought it might be a decent game, but unfortunately this hasn't been the case. Overall, the game is just not fun, repetitive, and boring. I honestly can't wrap my head around the fact there's a $60 price tag on it or that there's a "Mostly Positive" review rating.
