This game got weird controls and no real customizations, just choices of buttons that may or may not work for you. I personally was glad my keyboard allowed me to swap between WASD and arrows natively, which allowed me to find the perfect configuration for me.

Aside from that little (or big) issue, depending on the person, the game is actually fun to play and engaging. It mixes old platformer nostalgia with the challenge of finding as many endings as you can. What's more, the more endings you find, the more the gameplay is affected. I don't know if this is true for all endings, but I've noticed a few minor changes after some of these endings. The game is also littered with references.

There are 100+1 endings you can find, and discovering them by pure luck, hints, or because you connected dots is very fun. Later on, you unlock 2 new items at 33 and 66 endings, which allow you to find endings more easily than just following hints or your gut. I'd only use them if you're stuck.

If I had a bad thing to say about this game aside from the controls, it would be that you start from zero again, even if the world changes with some endings and some shortcuts get added, it's not that novel to remove the tediousness. As such, at least for me, playing this came in short bursts where I would unlock a couple of endings and end the session there.
