Judgement: Not Recommended

Oh boy, where do I even begin with this one?

I guess I will start by saying the game is extremely promising, with more work on it it would have probably turned out as a fantastic game. But instead of working on it the developers decided its too hard and used a cheap excuse to basically abandon it.

The state that the game is right now is extremely buggy and is missing a lot of features you would expect the game to have. It might have officially gotten out of early access but it plays like a game that was just released into early access instead. The management part is basically non existent and placing buildings and tracks down is a nightmare. You are extremely limited where you can actually place buildings down and once you place it down you can't move it again either.

The achievements are beyond busted as well. They all do unlock, but about half of them unlock just randomly when they shouldn't have unlocked yet. They are just a complete mess.

Performance is equally bad too. Recommended specs are i7 4770,4 GB of RAM and Nvidia GTX 980. But with an i9 9900k, 64GB of RAM and a Nvidia RTX 3090 I still saw the game run at less than 30FPS sometimes. What the hell? It doesn't really matter since the game is not something where you require a high frame rate, but this is just plain bad.

Lastly while I personally got the game gifted, I still feel absolutely insulted by the price point of this game. Not even the 50% off it usually goes on sale at makes it worth it. Save your 21€ (or whatever is the equivalent in your currency) and rather buy something that is actually finished and is working properly.

It is honestly just so sad, because it could have been so good.

This is more of a heads up than anything else since the game doesn't claim it supports Linux on the store page. It does actually have a Linux build and by default is what will be downloaded if you play it on Linux. However that version is old and out of date and achievement don't even work with it. Luckily forcing it to play the Windows version with Proton (9.0-2) works fine.
