Got mixed feelings about this game. I think overall concept of survival open world game were you live in lighthouse and trying to repair it is perfectly fine. But its just terribly undercooked.
So many elements of it just there for the sake of it. Like you can craft potions, do fishing and hunt and even grow carrots and wheat in your own patch of land. Problem is - you absolutely don't need to. I crafted one potion for achievement (they useless). I gathered and grow food to finish 3 boring quests (bake 1 bread, hunt 5 animals for meat, stuff like that) and that useless too, you cant die from hunger, only thing food gave you is energy to do stuff but just sleeping in bed give you 50% of energy back anyway. You can upgrade your tools (axe, slingshot etc) but there is no point to gather resources for upgrades because you can just as easily play without upgrades. Only point is another achievement to upgrade something once.
Lets talk about maintenance of lighthouse. Every day something gets broken and that's not affecting anything! You can do repairs or you can just do quests and get stabilizers to put in every machine so its never broken again. Another mechanic that just there.
Plot just plainly bad, its big load of nothing. Quests are your standard fetch quests to give you reason to go to another islands. World is pretty small. Last 3 islands doesn't have any coherent quests, you can visit them only for achievements.
Graphics are just fine, sound and music felt generic.
Overall game felt like student project, its fine as such but certainly not worth full price. Get it for a buck on sale to score easy 100% achievements but that's it.
