The game is a walking simulator, so if that's not for you, stop reading here.
I went in to this game not knowing basically anything about it, and that turned out to be a really good thing. The draw of TIMEframe is its atmosphere and minimalistic story, revealed obliquely as you progress. This is a very different game than something like Gone Home, with an entire world and its history written in, and deep context revealed in the environment and small pieces of writing you find. It has a wonderful score that helps set a mood that is sad, calm, and timeless. The playthrough time is quite short, and some people may be turned off by a storyline that is mostly implied, but I'd recommend the game if you want a nice atmospheric game to play 10-20 minutes at a time.
Also, it's an easy 100% achievement game, if you're into that.
